Can I have a timer that will activate the sacurity ribbon to update the workbook, then click a second maco command button, then save the workbook at a certain time of day, each day? And will this work at work? Our PCs after no activity need a password to do anything. Wil a PC with a workbook running in this condition still run a maco timer? Thanks hope you can help me with this. Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Are you saying that you already have code that does this, but you don't know if it'll work at work? If so, show your code, and someone may be able to see if you are using the correct VBA commands.
