Hi Guys,

Is there a macro that can change a set of numbers which are stored as text to number format?

At the moment what i do is insert a new column along side, multiply the column the number in by 1 the copy and paste special over the column.

This is a little long winded and im sure there is a mega quick macro that can do the job?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
type a 1 in a cell, copy it

then select text numbers as a group, Paste special , MULTIPLY (in the operation segment)

no need for a new column
