Hi there,

I have never written a macro before, so have no idea what to do. I need a macro, that will cause a pop up box to appear, which lists cells that require data entered into them before the next worksheet can be opended.

Any help would be great.

Let me know if there is any other info you need.

Thanks, Sarah.

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
could you give a little more detail.

Which cells do you want to check to see if they have a value?
Do you want this to happen on every worksheet you have, or just certain ones?

Hi,

There are alot of cells that need to have data entered into them, some are filled from a drop down list.

Here are the cells that need to have data entered into them before carrying onto the next worksheet;
C3 through to C7 - Text entered
C10, C11, C14, C15 - Drop down list
C16 - Text entered
C35 - Drop down list
B38 - Drop down list

Also I need it to tell me to enter certain data into a cell if a particular selection is made from a drop down list in another cell.

- if C18 = yes, "sq set above garage door" must be chosen from a list between A40 and A49
- if E15 = S&I by company name, "ceiling battens" must be chosen from a list between A51 and A56
- if C30 = stickon, "stickon" must be chosen from a list between A51 and A56

There are many worksheets with in the workbook, but they have different cells that need to have data entered.

I hope this has helped?? I am a bit out of my league here....
