Could some one please help me with the following.
I have a column on Sheet 1 which I enter data into, then copys this data into the next available Row on sheet 2.
What i would now like to add is have a Cell on sheet 1 to input QTY. So for example if I entered 10 it would copy the exact same data into the next available Rows on Sheet 2 10 times. Then clears the boxs just entered on sheet 1 ready for the next data to be added.
Reason for this is the product is exactly the same its just the serial number has changed. Any help would be gratefull.
Andy

Please contact me if I do not make any sense. Basically I am trying to do a spreadsheet to keep track of all our products, and all our products have serial numbers. so sometimes we might be shipping 10 identical parts but each has to have its own unique serial number. At present I have a record on a spread like this "0001 to 0010". only problem is if I did a search on spreadsheet for 0005 it does not come back with a match. Cheers

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
some more details are required. Perhaps you need a macro. I am sure you ae familiar with macros.

which is the relevant column in shee1. where is QTY is entered in which cell in which sheet.

You are copying a column into a row that means you have to use "transpose"

besides remember
the statement
cells(rows.count,"A").end(xlup).offset(1,0) takes you to the last data row plus one.

anyhow give particualrs required.
