Macro to create a forder with date name

Hi,

I whant to make a macro that will run when I open file.
This macro must create a folder in a location and the name wiil be the date when the macro run

can anyone help

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Actually Date will provide the date in a format of 24/08/2011 and as folder names cannot contain '/' then you'll need to format the date differently like so:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
MkDir "C:\" & Replace(Date, "/", "-")
End Sub
