I want to create a set of directories from a list of student names in a single column, one directory per student e.g.

DirName
Student1
Student2
Student3
Student4
Student5
Student...... up to say
Student130

I've tried scripts in PowerShell but I want to do this in Excel for user friendliness... any help gratefully received...

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Perhaps like this

Code:
Sub MDIR()
Dim LR As Long, i As Long
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For i = 2 To LR
    MkDir "C:\" & Range("A" & i).Value
Next i
End Sub
