I have tried to write code to delete all sheets from sheet2 onwards, but get subscript out of range and code below is highlighted

It would be appreciated if someone could kindly amend my code

Code:
 Worksheets(i).Delete

See full code below

Code:
 Sub delete_Sheets()
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Dim i As Long
     For i = Worksheets(2).Index To Worksheets.Count
Worksheets(i).Delete

 Next i

 Application.DisplayAlerts = True

End Sub

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Try it like this if you want to keep the first sheet

For i = Worksheets.Count To 2 Step -1
