Problem: I need the date to be input by a user in a cell on one file, then have a column in a data file filtered for dates greater than or equal to that date. Any help is appreciated! :confused:

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
does this do what you need

Code:
Sub filter_dates()
Dim x As Date
    x = InputBox(Prompt:="Enter date to filter", _
          Title:="INSERT DATE", Default:="Enter Date")
    Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1") = x
    Cells.AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:="=" & x, Operator:=xlAnd
    'your code here

End Sub
