Macro to hide certain rows

Problem:

- I need to select F:IF
- F remains visible
- The next four columns (G:J) need to be hidden
- K remains visible
- L:O need to be hidden

First cell unhidden, then four hidden, then unhidden, then four hidden...all the way through column IF.

I've tried recording a macro while doing this, but it won't function. I think there may be too many arguments in Range().Select or something.

Obviously, I'm a newbie to VBA, so help with the syntax here would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Try:
Code:
    Range("G:J,L:O").Columns.Hidden = True

This should work fine:

Code:
Sub HideColumns()
Dim cell As Range

For Each cell In Range("F1:IF1")

    If (cell.Column - 6) Mod 5 <> 0 Then cell.EntireColumn.Hidden = True

Next cell

End Sub
