I have a two part question, How do you insert a row in A38:Q38 using vba? Also, I would like to trigger this to run at noon on the 1st day of the month? Is that possible?

Thank You
Tony

I'm not sure what you mean. A38:Q38 is a range of rows. Where exactly do you want your new row inserted?

Wherever, you could use the macro recorder to generate the code required to insert a row and then base your macro on that.

Also, I would like to trigger this to run at noon on the 1st day of the month? Is that possible?

This is a two-part process:-
  1. Create a task in Windows Task Scheduler which opens your workbook just before noon on the first day of the month.
  2. Write a macro called Workbook_Open which waits until noon and then runs the code you want executed.
One thing to watch for: presumably you only want Workbook_Open to insert the row once each month, so you're going to have to store the month somewhere in the workbook and say, "Have I already run this month? If I have, do nothing; if I haven't, insert the row and store the month somewhere".
