I have a combo box created using Data|Validation. At some stage I must have assigned a macro but then deleted it. When I select an item from the combo box, I get Macro1 cannot be found. How do I get rid of this error?

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Use the right mouse button on the combo and then look at Assign Macro, you should be able to delete the macro from there. If you have done something on the OnChange Event you will need to look deeper.

If I do that, Macro1 isn't in the list to delete as it was already deleted. Hence I don't understand why the error message appears?
