Hi,

Like I said before I'm new to this whole MACRO world...

I managed to create 2 buttons on my worksheet that calls 2 macros. I all works fine. So I saved my worksheet.

But now, I want to bring my worksheet to another PC (on my USB key). I copied the XLS file on the other PC and opened the worksheet. When I tried clicking on either button, it told me that it couldn't find the macros !!!!

Is there a way to imbed the macros into the worksheet? Do I have to copy the macros separately from my worksheet?

I want my worksheet to work on ANY PC, what do I have to copy over?

Pleas Help,

Marc

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Hi,

1. You have to save your file as macro-enabled, .xlm extension in Excel 2003, not as .xls

2. When opening the file (.xlm) in another PC dont forget to enable macros.

Hi Marcelo,

Thanks for your answer... I'm going to ask a stupid question (first time with Macros):

How do I ENABLE Macros on another PC?

Thanks in advance,

Marc

Hi M
Slight correction
Rich (BB code):
You have to save your file as macro-enabled, .xlm extension in Excel 2003
should be
Rich (BB code):
You have to save your file as macro-enabled, .xlm extension in Excel 2007 or higher

Hi,

I'm built the worksheet and Macros in Excel 2007. But this will be executed on a PC with Excel 2003...

Thanks,
