Is there a way to stop the macros from being saved under personal
Using excel 2007

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
If you mean your Personal Workbook then select the View Tab and Select Hide, if your Personal Workbook is open then you have the option to then save and it shouldn't reopen when you open Excel.

If you mean that when you record a macro, you will get the option to save into This Workbook in the drop down option about storing the macro in.
