make chart have wicks (little lines) on axis

first pic is what I made using a pivot chart, but I'm trying to add those minor lines (wicks) on the axis (second link) ...the second chart isn't a pivot chart but I. imagine that does not matter

Try this
Right-click on the axis -> Format Axis... -> Text Options (at the top) -> Tick Marks
