I have a Visual Basic programmed Macro Enabled Excel 2010 file that I need to be able to run in Excel 2003. I tried to simply save the file as the compatible version using "save as..." from within Excel 2010, but when I then open that file in Excel 2003 I get a lot of error messages when attempting to run the macros.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
The error messages should point to the lines of code that are incompatible with 2003. You will have to restructure those lines with methods appropriate to 2003.

Okay, thanks. so for example, this line

"If ActiveChart.SeriesCollection("Data").MarkerStyle < 1 Then"

was valid in 2010 but isn't valid in 2003?
