Scholars, why? Debug points to this... I'm lost. Thanks

sql = " insert into [sheet1$] (name, age, gender) values('shinjiang', 5, 'male')"
connection1.Execute sql

VBA Code:
Sub adddata()
Dim connection1 As New ADODB.Connection
Dim data As New databaseclass
Dim sql As String
connection1.Open data.database12
sql = " insert into [sheet1$] (name, age, gender) values('shinjiang', 5, 'male')"

connection1.Execute sql
connection1.Close
Set connection1 = Nothing
End Sub

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Isn't this just the same question as this here?

If so, you need to continue in the original thread, as per rule 12 here: Message Board Rules
Please do not start multiple threads on the same question.
