Manipaulating chart caption programtically

In Excel 2007, I have created a scatter chart with around 14 points with captions displayed showing the numeric values. What I want is that when I hover the cursor on each of the point, a text box containing description of the values (aroud 5-10 sentences written on a separate sheet for each point) should appear, which can either be shown on the chart iteself or nearby the chart.

Any suggestions on how to go about manipulating chart caption to display text on mouse hover for each of the 14 points.
