Hi Guys
I have a spreadsheet in which one cell contains a link to another spreadsheet
='M:\Entry\Data\Share\filedata\waste\NewWaste\[Unidentified]USED'!R7C7
30+ people have access to this sheet and regularly update the sheet and save it.
Randomly though there is a 'Links not found' message and when i check the formula it has changed to
'\\ss2a\sp\data\Entry\Data\Share\filedata\waste\NewWaste\[Unidentified]USED'!R7C7
'\\ss2a\sp\data is the server that our 'M' drive is mapped to.
I have read some stuff about UNC and mapped links but i dont really understand what is happening.
I am guessing that someone is opening up the Spreadsheet differently which changes the link address but i have know idea how how that works.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rory
