Match a cell to multiple tables

Hello All,

I'm going to try and keep this simple.

I have a list of numbers.

I have 4 tables that each carry pieces of the large list. The tables are numbered 1-4.

I have played with the MATCH and VLOOKUP functions but not sure how (or if ) I am using them correctly.

I would like to be able to match (via cell color or additional column with TABLE #) the large list to the table where it's number can be found.
