I have a sheet that has some cells with conditional formatting. I then have a summary sheet to be used for printing that will duplicate certain cells from the first sheet. I need those cells to match the conditional formatting from the cells in the first sheet. Can this be done in Excel 2010?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi joek and welcome to the board.
If you want to have the same CF on corresponded cell in your other workseheet just use Format Painter from the Clipboard Section on Home Ribbon.
Click on the cell you want the CF to be copied and paste on the destination cell.

Hope that helps.

That doesn't work as I only have selected fields in my second tab. I don't want all the extra cells and formulas that drive the conditional formatting in the first tab. I'm just trying to get a few selected cells in the new tab and wanted the formatting to look the same as the detailed tab.

Is that clearer?
