Hi,

Looking for a formula for the following please.

I have 2 columns - debits and credits. What I want is a conditional format that will look down both columns and highlight duplicate entries within both columns.

The end result being either cells that don't match either formatted a colour or left as 'no fill'

Many thanks,

Thanks,

Another question re this formula?

Is there a way of finding out which cell refers to the target.

e.g. if I have 5,000 in cell a2 and the duplicate entry in found in cell B4. Is there a way of displaying that cell? As some debit entries may be for 45,000 (a4) and the credit entries are made up from two entries consisting of 1 at 30,000 (b5) and another at 15,000 (b6)

so a4 = b5 & b6

Thanks,

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I think now you are asking above my capabilities, but also this sounds like a different questions than the title. So others can benefit from this question and the search function could you post a seperate thread and I am sure one of these other fine board members can help you. I'll sure be interested...
