Firstly, Hello all

I am trying to correct this formula as it returns a #Value error =INDEX(AG$5:AG$31,MATCH(B11,AG$5:AG$301,0),AH5)

looking to display the contents of AH5 (which is a Purchase Order number) in say cell Z1
  1. if I use the evaluate function it does show it is looking at the correct cell, as I can see the PO number.
However, returns the error

Thank you in advance

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Your INDEX range was till row 31, while MATCH till row 301
BTW, while not VLOOKUP?

=VLOOKUP(B11,AG$5:AH$301,2,0)

?
