I am merging a field from excel with this formula "=IF(AP20<DATE(2020,4,1),DATE(2020,4,1),AP20)" this cell shows 1/4/2020, however when merge to word, it shows 04012020, I have added this to the merge field already { MERGEFIELD Date_of_join_X \ @ddMMyyyy } , howcome the month and date is the wrong way round?
Thanks!

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
The most likely explanation is that either your::
• date output in this cell is not consistent with the default date format for your workbook; and/or
• workbook date formats do not match your system's regional settings.
