I have 2 tables based on downloaded data from multiple sources. This is an automobile group consisting of 12 stores.
  1. Table 1 consists of data downloaded from 2 different sources. Three stores from 1 source and 9 stores from another source.
  2. Table 2 consists of data downloaded from a 3rd source. The same source for all stores.
  3. The data for the 3 stores finds matches while the data from the other 9 stores finds zero matches.
  4. Visually scanning the data clearly shows that there are some matches.
I have tried the merge with "fuzzy matches" turned on but then get many entries that are not actually matches. It is clear that Excel is not recognizing the data for the 9 stores. Does anyone know what I should be looking for in my data that is preventing Excel from seeing the matches?

Hello.
I just registered :)

I can try helping you out, but without seeing the data its hard to advice or direct you in any way.
Please, if you can provide some files.

First thing to look at is to make sure that the field(s) you are joining on have been set to the same "data type" in each of the queries.
