I was wondering if there was a way to back up a file to a specified directory on a daily basis. My IT department has tried restoring files but on countless times cannot retrieve the file. Does anyone know a macro to save a file once a day for a week after a file has been created?

This would save me much pain.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
As much as I like Excel I recommend you use a backup program yourself. Most backup programs can do regular backups. If you insist on using Excel you may want to try the Ontime() procedure to copy a file.
