Mid function question

Hi

i am trying to extract the text after and including the "@" sign in the following text string:

Burger Deal @ £8.50

i am using =MID(C14,FIND("@",C14),7)+0

but the formula is returnind #value for some reason any suggestions plz

thnx?

If you were trying to extract 8.50 from that string then +0 would coerce that from text into a number.

As @ £8.50 cannot be coerced into a number, your formula was returning an error.
