Hi,

I have a formula in cell T4 (=R4/38) this is calculating and average Hourly Rate for staff wages.

But I need a formula to stop the Cell calculating below £6.50.

So, the lowest calculation it can return is £6.50, with now restrictions on how high it can go

thanks
G

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
=MAX(6.5,(R16/38))

I've gone with this formula, which seems to be working - please let me know if it's wrong though

Try this:
=MAX(R4/38,6.5)

Edit: I see you posted while I was reading and replying. Yep, that is the way to go!
