I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have multiple cells, some of them with a positive number, some with a negative. I am attempting to retreive the smallest number in absolute terms and I cannot figure out the formula using both the ABS and MIN function. In addition, I would love to return the actual (non-ABS) number.

Thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
If I had only waited a few seconds and tried a few more things...I figured out the formula MIN(ABS(#1),ABS(#2),etc)) but I still need help on returning the non-absolute result for the number nearest zero. Thanks again in advance.
