I am using the latest 365 beta, but suddenly the formula syntax popup is missing; the little box that appears after typing eg sumifs( , to guide you through competing a formula. TBH I hadn't realised how much I depended on it, even after so many years of using Excel, for all but the most simple of formulas.

[edit] apparently this is more correctly called the Function Argument Tooltip

I have done repairs, both quick and online/full, but nothing brings it back, and I find that I am quite lost without it.

Any suggestions please?!!!

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Ctrl-Shift-A puts the syntax in as text, but it's not as good.

I spent ages Googling it to no avail; and since I last posted uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365 completely, again to no avail.

You are a life-saver.
