Hello all,
Im trying to help a co-worker with a stubborn "missing reference" problem. We're both running Excel 2007 on Windows XP, corporate controlled environment, so we should be set up nearly the same with regard to software versions. She is attempting to run a macro I've written, but she gets a "project or library missing" error. Looking at the references within VBE, the reference to atpvbaen.xls indicates it's missing, so that seems the logical problem to solve.
I've stepped her through the process of finding the file on her system (C:\windows\program files\Microsoft Office\Office 12\library\Analysis\atpvbaen.xlam), and she can double click or highlight and click OPEN, but the reference is still tagged as missing in the Tools References dialog. As a point of reference, the atpvbaen.xls reference does use the .xlam extension in Office 2007.
We've tried at least 5 times without success.
Her macro settings are set to "enable", "Trust the VBA Project object model" is checked...any ideas on why this won't work?
Thanks for any help,
Cindy
