For work I send out proposals where the cost is given as:

1000 SY @ $1.00/SY = $1000

I have to put that in one cell due to the formatting of the title block.

I'd like to be able to put the SY and $/SY in separate cells that get called in the main cell

=A1 "SY @ $" A2 "/SY = $" A3

What is the proper syntax to do this or will i have to finagle a way to separate the main cell into several?

THanks!

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
