=MONTH Formula, but leave blank if no date?

I have the following formula in Column L that I want to paste down thousands of rows of data, but there are rows in which there is no data in Column K.
How do I edit the formula to return the month if there is a date in Column K, but remain blank if there is no data?

Excel Formula:
=MONTH(K2)
