Month Names

Is there anyway to have Excel return the name of the month (i.e, November, December, etc.) given the number of the month (i.e., 11, 12)?

Just set the format of the cel to "MMMM"

=TEXT("1/"&A2+0,"mmmm")

where A2 has the month number.

I think that's very sensible. Who in their right mind would want to put the month before the day? :wink:
