Greetings! Im a very basic Excel user and I tried searching but didn’t solve my exact issue.

Making a chart so my wife can track her monthly bonus. She makes 10% of any production over her goal. I have her goal formula and production cells all set up.

For the totals, I have my formula setup as =(D1-C1)*.1 which works fine; except when she doesn’t meet her goal. When she doesn’t meet the goal, I need to stop the negative values from being multiplied by .1, and remain as whole negative numbers.

Thanks for any help. You all are an inspiration.

Thank you for the response. I found that solution but that won’t work for my use case. The tally is cumulative over the month so a zero won’t do; I would need the actual -50 to show up in the column. What I’m asking for may not be feasible, I don’t even know. Thanks again.
