How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
tracktor,

What version of Excel are you using?

You will generally get much more help (and faster) in this forum if you can post your small samples (what you have and what you expect to achieve) directly in the forum.

To attach screenshots, see below in my Signature block: Post a screen shot with one of these:

If you are not able to give us screenshots, see below in my Signature block: You can upload your workbook to Box Net

I am using Excel 2010 https://cssp.box.net/shared/5dnx1a2vgv also the link at code cage has the file uploaded there. In my file I have merged cells, this is only an example file, the actual spreadsheets do not have merged cells. You can unmerge them if needed. I just did it to explain what I wanted.

tracktor,

Having a little problem understanding your instructions.

Can we have another workbook on Box.Net that displays what Sheet1 and Sheet2 should look like after the macro.

Here is the workbook After the Macro https://cssp.box.net/shared/r466kl82as

Basically all the rows on Sheet2 of the original file with the astericks in Column G are deleted and on Sheet1 the rows with a minus sign in Column G are moved to Sheet2. Also, Column G will not be in the actual workbook, so you cant use the * or- signs as identifiers.

Does this work with Excel 2010. For some reason I can't find it in Excel.
