I have two sheets in the same file.

Both sheets share a column A called "Item ID"

This "item id" is already filled in on each sheet. Sheet 1 has 1,000 more item id than sheet 2

Two options...
a. Please help me filter out or find the duplicates between the two sheets.
b. Move Column B "item number"

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hello!

a. To additional column at Sheet1:
Excel Formula:
=IF(NOT(SUMPRODUCT((A2=Sheet2!$A$2:$A$20)+0));1;"")
, where A2 - highest cell with Item ID at Sheet1 and $A$2:$A$20 - item ID range address at Sheet2.
This formula returns 1, if cell value is in column at Sheet1, but not in column at the Sheet2. Otherwise returns empty.

b. To Item # column at Sheet2:
Excel Formula:
=INDEX(Sheet1!$A$2:$B$20;MATCH(A2;Sheet1!$A$2:$A$20;0);2)
, where $A$2:$A$20 - item ID range address at Sheet1; $A$2:$B$20 - address of range with Item ID and Item #, 2 - column with Item # number of this range.
