Afternoon,

I have a very basic Gantt chart in excel
I have not used a chart - just used rows and columns
I have dates accross the top and tasks down the side
Is there a way to get a red line to run down the 'table' based on todays date so i can follow what tasks i should be doing on that day?
So for example, today i would need a red line to run down column M, tomorrow it would be column N etc

Thanks as ever

Thanks Andrew......

I am new to all this so please bare with me. The line would need to run down the whole column so today i would need a line down column M when i open the sheet tomorrow i would need the line to run down N.

I have filled in blocks at sparadic points on the sheet.

To avoid over going them can we get the red line to run down the border?

thanks

Did you try the formula I posted? You can select the cells from column B onwards when you add the conditional format. You can also choose to format the border.
