MrExcel board - posting box - controls inactive in Android Chrome

Dear all,
Since a couple of days ago I noticed the messaging controls are inactive when browsing this board using chrome on Android. I cannot format text or insert code tags. One of the few active buttons is the Post Preview one.
I tried flushing the cache, but to no avail.
Any ideas? Anyone else with such symptoms?
