For my program, I have created a spreadsheet where I have raw data on the top portion (that I update monthly) and 18 different charts below (positioned 3 by 6) it that update with each new month of data that is added to the top portion.

My question... Is there any way to set this "dashboard" up so that the charts print out on separate pages? I like working with Excel alone but some of my co-workers like to print everything. I would like to set it up so the charts alone will print on seperate pages. I tried making each chart its own page by use of View-Page Break Preview and adjusting all of the pages so that each chart had its own but when I go to print, the charts are very small on each page.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Pat

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Great information. Wow... okay, so my 'dashboard' is completely primitive compared to some I saw at the links you provided. Im now very excited to learn more about them. Do you recommend the ebook? Its a bit pricey for my agency but I could probably swing it.

I'll be posting data soon... just gotta learn how.

Thanks again all!

My goodness there's a lot of detail there - 12 graphs is a lot for one tab!! It's going to take a lot of zooming and scrolling around just to be able to see the detail (which goes against dashboard best practice of only keeping things simple and visually appealling).

I would consider putting one graph on every tab (or using a dropdown box to allow the user to choose which graph they want to view). You could set this up very simply (in a few keystrokes) using the camera function.

If you can't see the camera you may need to set it (Office Button > Excel Options > Customize > Camera). To use it, simply select the range of cells you want to take a picture of, hit the camera button, and then draw an area on a new tab where you want to display the graph - any changes in the original will be reflected in the picture.

Hope this helps.

I know in Excel 2007, when you right click on the chart and try and move it, you can get the choice to make the chart its own worksheet. Dont remember how in 2003, but i thought it could be done.

One chart = One Worksheet
