Hi,
Doing some customization in MS Project. Wow, is that a hack of Excel. Change the GUI, and sell an application. Slick marketing.
Anyway, there is no conditional formatting that I see in MS Project. Google searches show "build a macro". Ug, I am not a VB macro guy.
Does not look that hard, though. This is a pretty good example of what I found.

I downloaded the MS Project 2003 SDK. It does contain a help file that goes over the Object Model.
What I want to do is shade an entire cell if it contains a word. That word being, "NOTHING". This NOTHING is the result of a logic check I put into place for automation of evaluating other cells.

VoG was kind enough to do this macro. But, humbly...I am just not a VB guy.
Has anyone ever done a macro in MS Project?
Thanks,
SHD
