mscal calendar opens blank

hi all, i have an issue here that i just can't put my fingers on. i have a file that uses mscal.ocx for its calendar. it works fine on most machines but on two (one XP and the other runs windows 7, both and all other working computers as well Excel 2007) the calendar opens up empty. (see screenshot).

would anyone know how to fix that?

if anyone else has this kind of problem, here is what i did to solve it:

downloaded another version of mscal.ocx (http://www.fontstuff.com/downloads/mscal_office2003.zip), unregistered the old ocx, deleted mscal.ocx files (may be up to 4) in system32 folder, placed this one and registered it.
