multiline message box

Hi

I'm wanting a multiline message box
Searching the web says all I need is insert & vbCrLf& but I get expected end of statement error. What am I not doing.
Running Excel 2002 & 2010

Msgbox "line1" & vbCrLf& "line2"

MsgBox "line1" & vbCrLf & "line2"

All the examples showed it without the space, some used the underscore character and some used vbNewline, my head was spinning.

Out of interest, do you know if vbNewline work in Excel versions 2000 - 2010

Yes, vbNewLine will work in all of those versions.
