I do not understand why this formula is now working. Once I key it into the cell, if triggers an error asking me if am trying to create a formula.

=IF((ISBLANK(A40)+ISBLANK(I40)+ISBLANK(K40)+ISBLANK(M40)>0,"","DECOMISSION IN AI AND ORACLE")

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(OR(A40="",I40="",K40="",M40=""),"","DECOMISSION IN AI AND ORACLE")

Yes, it does that when you have a typo. You have unbalanced parentheses.
Try this:
Excel Formula:
=IF(ISBLANK(A40)+ISBLANK(I40)+ISBLANK(K40)+ISBLANK(M40)>0,"","DECOMISSION IN AI AND ORACLE")
