Hi,

Can somebody please help me with the below:

If I have 3 columns of text in Excel and I want it to check if they all match and return a certain phrase if they all match if not return an alternative phrase. How would I go about setting up a multiple IF statement for this?

It is important that they match for the specific phrase in the column.

Thanks,

Ruth :)

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
does this work?
PHP:
=IF(OR(A2=B2,B2=C2),"All match","Doesn't match")

if not post a small sample of your data and the expected results.

I guess you wanted to say:
=IF(AND(A2=B2,B2=C2),"All match","Doesn't match")
