Hi

I cannot understand why this forumla is not working.. it is returning FALSE, when the values exist / match in relative locations.

HTML:
=ISNUMBER(MATCH(1,(Sheet1!$G$2:$G$86=A3)*(Sheet1!$H$2:$H$86=C3),0))

any ideas?

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Did you remember to press Ctrl+Shift+Enter? For a non-array version:

=ISNUMBER(MATCH(1,INDEX((Sheet1!$G$2:$G$86=A3)*(Sheet1!$H$2:$H$86=C3),),0))

Thanks, the CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER worked - such a silly mistake, don't know this was a array type.

Also your non-array version worked too!

One of these days I will manage to do these forumlas without help:mad:
