Greetings, All
I'm having difficulty with a formula which references A1, and returns a vLookup based upon that value.
If A1 = "Monday", do a vlookup of A:H, 2
If A1 = "Tuesday", do a vlookup of A:H, 3...

Here is the original formula which needs to include LEFT and LEN.
=IF($A$1="Monday",LEFT(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,2,0), LEN(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,2,0)) -9))

Here's a formula I tried which returned a #VALUE! error:
=IF($A$1="Monday",LEFT(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,2,0), LEN(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,2,0)) -9)),IF($A$1="Tuesday",LEFT(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,3,0), LEN(VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,3,0)) -9))

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
How about like
Excel Formula:
=LET(m,MATCH($A$1,{"Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday"},0)+1,v,VLOOKUP(B3,Community!A:H,m,0),IF(ISNA(m),"",LEFT(v, LEN(v) -9)))
