Hi,

Can you help me with my formula....

=IF(VLOOKUP(A2,Master!E$3:P$1805,12,FALSE)=L$1,"864","0")

That's the basic formula but I often have multiple lines that if "0" is the answer, it rechecks the next line that is the same as the Vlookup(A2 part.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Claire

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK

Hi Jon,

When excel is using the VLOOKUP, it's only coming back with the first line that it finds.. but I need it to check every line that A2 = if it brings back 0 as the answer.

Does that make sense?
I have mutiple lines of the vlookup value. Once it's looked up every line, if all are 0, then I still want the answer as 0.

Thanks,
Claire

If some are 0 and others are not, do you want the SUM of them or the 1st non-zero or ?

Are you interested in only the one field, or will you want to retrieve more info about multiple matches?
