My first post ! Formula problem

Dear All,

I have created the following report in excell for my company.

In one excel file i have 32 spreadsheats. 31 of them contain a daily form that the stuff is filling. in the 32nd i would like to transfer the info from the other 50 so as to have the whole info ready for the statistical report.
i named the sheets 1,2,3,4.....32.
So what happens:

i.e i transfer
the info from some cells in sheet 1 TO centain cells in sheet 32 row 1 ( it took me 20 min. In order to save time i dragged the formula so as to include all the sheets and i found that only the cell adress was changing but not the sheet number.
My question is: is there any possibility when i drag a formula from one row to another to change a spreadsheet number.

I am not too sure what you are after, but if I am right follow this.

On sheet 32 select the cell you want the value in. For this example I will use Sheet_1.

Type "=" and then click the tab for Sheet_1.

Next click the cell in Sheet_1 which contains the information you want in Sheet_32 and press [Return].

Do this for each value you wish in Sheet_32.

Thank you very much for the reply. i was thinking to do the same, but i wanted to avoid it bacause it will take a lot of time.

My intention is to make daily reports in the first 31 sheets and the information to be summarized in sheet 32 and then automatically the diagrams and pivot tables will be filled and by this i will have the statistics done automatically for every month

If all the workbook are exactly the same (structure), then my guess is that you need to consolidate all the data in a new workbook using vba. This way you can automate the collection of data then analyze it.
