my formulas refer to RC[-1] insted of A1

hi,
i have a formula in B1 that says look at A1.

how can i have the formula show as "=A1" as opposed to "=RC[-1]"?

Goto:

Tools - Options - General - Uncheck R1C1 reference Style

I think thats the problem anyhow.
