I have a huge text file of the folowing info:

Name: John Doe
Phone:
Email:
Ect:

I can import it into excel with : being the seperater but I need to divide up the first and last name.

What I am hoping to do is take the Name: field and dived it into 2 columns and 2 rows.

FirstName: John
LastName: Doe
Still keep the same info below it.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Insert a column next to name (I would do 2 or three if you think there are middle initials or suffixes), go to data, text to columns, delimited, and use a space. That should do it. If anyone put in middle initials or suffixes you might have to do some cleanup.

thanks

thanks but I need it to do the following:

I can get it in two columns:

C1 C2
Name John Doe

or even 3

C1 C2 C3
Name John Doe

But what I want to do is
C1 C2
FirstName John
LastName Doe
